Spy on Your Competitors in Google Ads

Step 1: Do a Search in Google

The first step is to do a search using Google with a keyword related to the products or services that your competitor may be advertising on. You may also need to add some modifiers such as location or other specifics related to the business if they are targeting very specific keywords.

Step 2: Click the Three Dots Next To the Business’s Advertisement.

Once you have done a search and seen which ads appear, look for the three dots next to the advertisement on the right-hand side of the ad copy. This will bring up additional information about that particular advertisement.

Step 3: View the “My Ad Center” Pop-Up

When you click on those three dots, a pop-up will appear called “My Ad Center” which provides more information about who is running this advertisement.

If you scroll down, there should be an option that says “About This Advertiser” under which there will be an option that says “See More Ads” from this advertiser”. Select this option and proceed to step 4!

Step 4: “See More Ads” from This Advertiser

You will now see all the advertisements that the advertiser is running in Google Ads! Now it’s time for some competitive analysis! By studying how your competitor is writing their ads and creating their graphics, you can get valuable insight into what works best for them and use this information to create better ads yourself!
